Arizona Sunset Horseback Ride

Scratch&Ride Experience
Learn to brush and saddle up your horse before hitting the trails for a 1-hour beginner ride! Just 30-minutes from downtown Tucson, Arizona, this is an exclusive, small-group, “cowboy for a day” experience.
Family-Friendly Arizona Horseback Ride
This 1-hour Arizona horseback ride, near Tucson, is the beginner-friendly, desert horseback experience you’ve been looking for! Great for all ages and experience levels. Bring your sun hat and a camera!
30-Minute Easy Trail Ride
This mini version of our “Family-Friendly Arizona Horseback Ride” is for folks who don’t think they’re up to a full-length trail ride. You’ll see some of the desert plants, but it’s mostly a chance to get a bit of a horse fix.

At The Stables at Westward Look by Tattered Saddle we provide the family-friendly Arizona Horseback Ride, Arizona sunset horseback ride, Arizona “cowboy-for-a-day” Scratch&Ride Experience – where you can learn to tack and groom your horse before going on an hour-long ride – and a 90-minute Arizona horseback adventure.
Most of our locations have accommodations for riders of up to 250 pounds (please call us at (970) 657-5463 for riders 250-300 pounds). Children as young as 6 years old are welcome to join any of our amazing, local, horseback riding in Arizona near Tucson. Pony rides are available for kids who are too young or too nervous to go on a full-length horseback ride.
Whatever horseback ride in Oro Valley you choose is sure to be a unique experience – our healthy horses, and reliable trail guides, will see to that! However, do keep in mind that each adventure has an appropriate age and experience level for optimum enjoyment. Tattered Saddle is a small, family-owned and operated business with horseback riding stables in Livermore, CO, Tucson, AZ and Oro Valley, AZ. The Colorado horseback riding location operates from May to September every year and the Arizona horseback riding locations operate from December to April.
